Meet Miss Patty
My First Friends Co-Founder

Patty Neal is the founder and CEO of the Dance Spectrum studio in Buffalo, New York. She started dancing at the age of 7, and by the age of 11 she was a class assistant. At 16, “Miss Patty” taught her first dance class! While teaching dance and attending nursing school in the 70’s, she was a principle member of “Am Dance In Concert”, the first Tap and Jazz Company in the United States, directed by the late and great, Beverly Fletcher. After spending 5 years with the Am Dance Company, Miss Patty returned to Buffalo to open her own school. She has always been a natural leader, a role model, and a motivator in and out of the classroom.

Currently in it’s 39th season, the Dance Spectrum is the home to over 600 boys and girls, studying a complete dance curriculum for all ages and skill levels. The status of the Dance Spectrum in the Buffalo community and the achievements of it’s dancers are significant, as evidenced by their success on America’s Got Talent, Season #9, 2014. Miss Patty is a very proud Mom of two adult children, Aubrey and Emma and is very excited to launch this brand new academic preschool program at the Dance Spectrum!
